List List of States that allow temporary medical license for IMGs

Hello all,

I came across a lot of interesting stuff regarding which states do not allow residency to St. Matthew's, Spartan and Windsor Graduates.

California has put St. Matthew's and Spartan (schools I know of) in their disapproved list of Medical schools. Many states follow the California list and these states are:
1. Alabama
2. Alaska
3. Arizona
4. Arkansas
5. Colorado
6. Georgia
7. Idaho
8. Indiana
9. Kansas
10. New Mexico
11. North Dakota
12. Oregon
13. Tennessee
14. Vermont
(Please add more if you guys are aware of more states for these schools)

Then I came across a list of states that do not allow medical license for Windsor graduates (again school that I know of) but Windsor is not on the disapproved list or approved list on the California medical board:
1. Arizona
2. Indiana
3. New York
(These three states I am sure of that do not allow Windsor graduates but I am sure there are more states that do not allow Windsor graduates to obtain a temporary medical license for residency. If you know please add to the above)

St. George, Ross, Saba, AUC are pretty much accepted in most states for temporary medical license that I have seen so far.

Just out of curiosity, do you happen to know why these states dislike these schools (specially Windsor) so bad? I know im a little bit off topic but just wanted to know

Your guess is as good as mine!

St. Matthew's is a good school though. Don't know why California put it on their disapproved list!

Cali board sends out people to accredit schools. If it fails to meet criteria, they put it on the disapproval list. Now, I'm not sure whats on the criteria list, but that's what's involved.
