Personal Statement Personal Statement Length

Hello everybody. I know that personal statement is really important and one should revise it many times. But I don't know how long should it be. Can anybody give a clue?

Thank you very much!

From what I read, try too keep it at maximum 1 page length, around 1,200 words (everything below 1,200 words will be printed in 1 paragraph by the program). That being said, it's better to keep it at around 700-900 words, and keep it interesting.

I doubt that 1200 words can be put in one page. Could you verify the font and margins?

everything under 1200 words will be in one sentence I have also heard this from Kaplan.

The system as explained by my Program Director prints it in one page Font Calib, size 7. margin .1'

it gets bigger when reading it on the computer

1 of my statements is 897 words, one is 540 and one is 1205 words.

I'm sorry, I was wrong.
According to ERAS it will be viewed in Courier font 10pts, and 1 page will be approximately 800 words.
