List Steps of Uploading "Unwaived" LoR!

hey guys
so this is the situation
I'm really confused about how to upload LORs to my application
I have 2 LORs in my hand (unwaived) and I want to upload them myself
I keep reading about to use oasis and eras to upload them but I really do not understand how to do that because it is very confusing, can anybody tell me IN STEPS what to do?
thanks a lot in advance

1. Go to myeras, under documents, choose letter of recommendation. Then enter the LOR author (choose unwaived) and finalize it .

2. Once you have finalized the author, go to Oasis>eras support services>upload>LOR then enter the name of the LOR author and upload the LOR from your computer.

So one does not need to contact the LoR writer if it is unwaived?

Contacting the LoR is only needed when the letter is waived, correct?

Yes. That's correct. the LoR author does not need to do anything if it's "unwaived" LoR.

Is it okay if you finalize some doctor as an LOR author in myERAS for waived LOR but the LOR author doesn't upload the LOR.
I mean that shouldn't be a problem...

so should I finalize the letter before uploading it in oasis? or should I upload in oasis then finalize?

I have several questions regarding unwaived LoR:
1. I upload the LoR to OASIS first and then finalize it in myERAS, will this be a problem?
2. Do the names in myERAS finalized LoR have to be EXACTLY the same with the "author name" in OASIS? because, I put "MD" in author name of OASIS and "M.D." in the myERAS. will this be a problem?

Thanks

I have the same question as that of Tramps' questions number 1.

Can some one please care to share if there is any delay in Lor being available by eras post office when you first upload your Lor and then Finalize it in my Eras?

Default ...

what i did was... i uploaded my unwaived LOR through ecfmg and then finalized my author in ERAS. i did not print out that link to the letter request form. I just ignored it.
10 days later, my letter was available in the eras post office. However, I assume it took so long because I was uploading it around first week of september which is rush period. They say a maximum of two weeks, but I think it might be quicker now.
