Default High USMLE Score - Desperately Need Help

Hi everyone,

I have been trying to find some doctors who I can do shadowing in order to obtain letter of recommendation from them here in orange county, California, but so far I was able to get only one.

I have received my step 1 score at 256 and step 2 at 267 and awaiting step 2 CS results ; I am getting very disappointed.

I have tried many hospitals, clinics and ... but i have had minimum luck. You need to have some networking which i don't have, I don't know anyone here and it is frustrating. if I can't get the 3 letters by the end of August, i'll be out of luck and have to wait One more year. One more year of my life will be wasted.

I really appreciate anyone who can help me refering me to a doctor here that can provide me with this letter (LOR).

Thanks a lot :sorry:

There won't be poverty if the world was so nice.

I doubt anyone here can help you get what you need. You have to keep trying on your own.

Goodluck

Default Your scores are good enough !!!

Don't worry brother...you already have one solid US LOR...

You can get the other LORs from your medical school from home...

Your scores are very good, they will definitely land you a spot for residency. Apply as widely as you can (>70 programs).

Try asking any of the doctors your parents know or their friends... try try try!

I wish you a good luck
