Question Step 1 Attempt Filter

I am an IMG.

I have a question about the residency matching filter criteria. I have an attempt in Step 1 but came back good with Step 1 score of 216 and Step 2 CK 240 and CS first attempt.

I need no Visa sponsorship. I have 3 US LOR's (all waived) and 2 from home country.

My question is :

1) Some schools or hospitals have a filter criteria that all steps should be cleared in 1st attempt. Should i still go ahead and apply for those schools or hospitals?

2) Are there any circumstances or scenario's of those filters being offset ?

Thanks.

Default you can e-mail the program

If you find a program with high percentage of IMGs and you are interested in , you can e-mail that program to inquire about the step 1 attempt. Good luck

If somebody has an attempt on step 2 ck only, do you think there is any such filter regarding this issue?

I believe attempts are actually done manually. They basically do a score cut-off and then go through the scores and look for attempts. Well that what the PD on SDN said about attempts.
