Warning! Should I apply????

Hi guys.. I want to know what do you think and what should I do??.. well I have almost everything ready to apply to the programs (ECFMG certification, MSPE, PS, transcripts), btw I'm going to apply for Internal Medicine, but I just have 2 LORs and the vast majority of programs ask for 3 LOR and some even ask for 4... So, Should I send my application with only 2 LOR, wait until I get a 3rd one (probably in 2 weeks), or apply next year???

thanks for your time

pd: YOG 2012, step1:236, step2ck:244, step2cs: pass (passed all steps on first attempt), GC holder (no visa issues)

Hi,

I think a lot of programs filter you out if you have less than 3 LORs. Is there anyway you can get one more?

Thank you tespina2
I think I can get another LOR in 2 weeks, but that implies that It will appear in eras in late september... Is there a problem if I start sending my application by late september?

Hi,

I'm on the same boat. I have 3 LORs in hand, but I'm still waiting on two LORs which I should be able to upload by the end of this week. I think we should be okay, but it would probably be better to get the opinion of someone with experience with the match.

From what I've read, it is better to apply with a complete profile than an incomplete one. I don't think late September would be too late especially because there are a lot of people still waiting on scores. I strongly believe you will be filtered out with only 2 LORs.
