Help Failed pre-clinical courses

How does this affects my application and what is the best way to approach this issue?

It will appear in the MSPE, they gave me the option to add an explanation there, but I'm not sure whether that will help me or not. What should I do? What to put in my PS?

I really don't know how to face this problem...

do they report every failed attempt in mspe (in each subject reppeared) or they just say multiple reappears? But in my view you have to be honest with yourself, and then it wont be a big deal? Though it remains a red flag you can't correct it so don't worry too much about it.

They have just reported that I was required to repeat or otherwise Reinforce a coursework during my Medical education. No more, they don't give an explanation of why or how many.

My grades went up after that, I was elected Vice President of the medical student's association, I also did volunteering and extracurricular activities (acting and music). I did a research master, published an article, and currently working in another one. Step 1 226, CK 243, And CS passed all in first attempt. I have 3 months of USCE. I mean.... I fear mentioning it will put me out of interviews, but also... I fear that if I not, they might think of me as a liar.

I don't know what to put in my PS, I would prefer to have the chance to explain myself during the interview. I feel so confused.

If they dont report every failure, then it is a good news. I asked a friend who matched two years ago the same question. He told me that PDs don't ask about Img's past medical school record generally because they dont know much about international medical school curriculum. So It's less likely that they will ask you this question very routinely. Good luck!

Hi all,
I am in a similar situation, had to retake one subject.
One of my seniors did not had this mentioned this failure on mspe or during his form 327A submission, which did not bring this topic although while interviews.
Does this account to irregular conduct as per ecfmg rules?
I mean if your mspe downplays the failure, does it account to hiding crucial information?

Please help,,,,

Could you rephrase this? I don't understand. Are you saying that him repeating the course was not mentioned during the interview or it was mentioned?

Failures are reported . There is no scope for hiding. Only thing is whether your school report every failure? As dr. Mexito rported that they just mention failure in med school not details is consolation. Though it is a red flag but not that big
a deal for imgs.

Thanks all,

What I meant was, a senior to me who failed his final year exam had no mention of the same on his MSPE or common application form or form 327A. According to him the college did not consider retaking an exam, extension of degree, as it did not required him to join any extra or remedial class. You just appear for exam again if you fail.
So in his case there was no direct mention that he flunked a subject in any document submitted by the institute or his side.

I wished to ask even if the college version is right and no mention of failing is there, hiding such information indirectly, does it surmount to irregular conduct as per ecfmg??

Please advice,,
