Clock ERAS Documents Uploading Time

Hey everyone,
I'm in a bit of a mess cuz my LoR authors are taking FOREVER to upload my letters. My MSPE will be uploaded sometime this week. How long is it taking for the documents to be available in the ERAS post office? Can someone who has recently uploaded them tell me? I know it says that it takes approximately 2 weeks but just thought I'd ask if they're getting done sooner maybe?

Thanks! I'll have my MSPE uploaded tomorrow and then start annoying my LoR authors about their letters. Ugh

Did you get a notification when your letter writer uploaded the waived letter?

Nope. No notification or any indication that the writer uploaded the LOR as far as I know.

Default school transcript

Hey guys what about the school transcript?? I am wondering how this all works... Should I wait for it to be upload it or should I go ahead and apply on the 15th before it's uploaded? (I'm an IMG btw, not sure if that matters)

And I have another question, do we need to assign the transcript to each program or the programs just download it if they want it??

thanks everybody

To be honest, I wouldn't submit your application without core documents such as transcript, MSPE, etc. Has your school (or you) uploaded it and you are just waiting for it to be made available through myERAS?

Your medical school transcript is automatically accessed by the programs if it is available in your application.

The only documents / files you need to manually assign to each individual program (through the "Programs Selected" tab in myERAS) are:

1. The training track (categorical, preliminary, etc.)
2. LoRs (which LoRs you are going to designate to a particular program)
3. Personal statement
4. Photograph
5. USMLE transcript

[EDIT: Some programs may also request additional documents - e.g. I've come across a few research-track IM programs that want an additional 1-page document e-mailed to the program director with a description of subspecialty research interests]
