Default please help!!

I am a Canadian student in 4th year at a Caribbean med school. just in time to apply for residencies.
Step 1 score: 207
Step 2 CS: failed ( I have no idea how I failed this BS exam. I failed on communications BS part. my English prof and clinical knowledge was at the top scores).
Step 2 Ck score: results Coming out October 7. I think the exam went well. I am hoping to get around 240s.
What should I do? I am planning to retake CS but should I still go ahead and apply for 2014 Match.
If I do the CS again at the end of the month or October. My results are coming out on Dec. Is that still enough time for the match 2014.

Please help me? I have no idea what to do

Sorry to hear that you failed CS.

I would wait and retake CS since you failed it. If you had pending scores or simply had not taken CS I would advise you to apply to programs that are willing to wait for those scores, but since you have failed CS I think that the best course here would be to retake it and then apply with the full package (scores and ecfmg certification). You can use this extra year to do research, some usce and new LORs.

Yes I took CK this past week. Will that be enough to apply for residency this year. Hopefully, I get a good score. I studied hard and was doing well on uworld qbank and did well on the assessment test.

If I redo the CS end of the month, the score will be back end of December.

Don't apply with just your step 1 and step 2ck with a fail in cs, that will be a waste of money. If you had stellar step 1/2 scores, you could have taken the risk. Programs will first filter you out because you aren't ecfmg certified and don't have a complete application, then some will filter you because you have failed step 2 cs.
Pass your cs, improve your cv, then apply.
