Question NRMP ID on ERAS Application!

Does it make a difference to register for the NRMP at Noon an add the ID number on ERaS application and than apply aftet that? Or sud we just go ahead and apply without adding the NRMP ID?

This is a good question. Any input regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated. From what I know you can register with the NRMP later on as its only relevant then during ranking but the best not that bugs me is that it's on the cv... So not certain??

Thanks

Thanks for the reply and the information, it was very helpful and informative. I noticed a lot of people comment saying they can add the NRMP ID after they submit the application. I always thought once you have submitted your application it was all final and nothing can be added/deleted/or changed.

I amm assuming since this information is in profile where it has your address and email, etc. This section can always be changed unlike the CAF itself which can not be changed once submitted?

As a follow-up question when would be a good time to actually submit the application, 1 day ahead couple of hours before or at 9am EST, any suggestions?

Thank You.

Can you still add the NRMP ID to your CV after submitting your application to the programs?

I would prefer adding it to my profile and then uploading my application!

I recently got an advice from an attending about uploading the application! There is no harm in uploading your application within the first week. No one is out there, who will grant interviews regarding who submitted the application on the first! day! They always take out applications in batches...That being said, dont wait until december either...I personally plan to upload my application anytime in the first week and not on the very first day

Goodluck !
