Question applying without Personal statement.

my personal statement is not ready yet ,everything else is ready , I want to apply today but really don't know if it's possible or advisable to apply without a personal statement .
& if it's not recommended or possible , if I apply on the 18th is that considered late ?!!
please I need your advise.

please guys I'm going out of my mind, I screwed up when I didn't have my ps ready sooner , but now people say that it's crucial that you apply on the first day & any day after that decreases your chances, please anyboby with experience please advise.

It is crucial to apply earlier , but you are at fault here. You should have prepared you personal statement earlier than September 15th.

I would advice you to complete your application and then send it rather than sending it incomplete and then get rejected.

Apply today, assign personal statement later. But do not take more than 1-2 days

PS is unlikely to be a filteirng criteria but it would make sense to get it assigned to the programs in the next day or two

I mean applying with an incomplete application is not ideal but not having a PS is way better than not having a step score or important LOR.

I have personally talked to several program coordinators , and they all have stated that PS is a filter criteria. Programs get over 1000+ applications - they are looking for reasons not to give you interview seats. So if you want to send an incomplete application , be my guest.

Just an honest question. Would being late for just 3 days make a big difference?

No one knows. It probably depends on the program you're applying to.
