Listening Need suggestion with PS

So one of my Lor is from a IM/cardiologist who has recommended me for pediatrics programs. He has mentioned abt my interest in cardiology as well.. Iam having a problem keeping my PS to 1 page with going deep in mentioning abt cardio and stuff.. Can i just restrict my PS abt my interest in Peds residency skipping abt cardio part ? or does it look incomplete as no goal mentioned..? And is that lor still considered useful fr residency app in general ?

The LoR author should have mentioned your interest in pediatric cardiology rather than adult cardiology otherwise it won't be much useful for pediatric applications.

You can skip your fellowship interests in the Personal Statement, it's not mandatory. Your PS should be completely focusing on pediatrics if you are using it for pediatric applications.

Thank You for the reply.. My lor author has uploaded two letters one for IM and one for Peds separately. Its a waived lor but I heard that the content is specific to my interest in Cardio sub specialty.
