Dollar Sign How much will I get after residency

ok i am a 4th yr student from India and new on this forum
and i haven't yet started preparing..i want to know what are the job opportunities for an Indian med graduate once he completes his residency???and how much do they earn on an average???

After you finish residency you have 100% chance of getting a job.

Salaries (per year):
Average for Internal Medicine $200,000
Average for Family Medicine $200,000
Average for General Surgery $300,000
Average for ObGyn $250,000
Average for General Pediatrics $150,000

Yes. These are gross numbers. That's how salaries are reported in general.
If you want after taxes, deduct 25-30% from total.

Default j1 visa

thanx a lot.this was an extremely valuable information for me..now about this J1 visa thingy...it's not supposed to be that good as u are compelled to come back.so what other the other kinds of visa that an IMG can get?and how do i get them??
Also i heard that indians usually are not allowed in a variety of subjects e.g eye,ENT,dermatology....i heard the same about gen surgery...it's not true then?
