Listening Your point of view to apply for a program

Hi guys, I need a little help here. I am trying to decide if i should apply to the program where i am going to be observing in November. The issue is this program is sending major rejection because it has a one year USCE requirement or may be some other reason. If my supervisor recommends me won't he be hesitant with the rejection letter if already sent? The program is Georgetown Pediatrics, D.C.

Well, if Georgetown Peds has an ABSOLUTE requirement for one year USCE, then you have only 2 choices:

1. Don't apply.
2. Get your supervisor to pull some strings and waive that USCE requirement for you (if he even can).

Otherwise, it's a waste of time applying.
PREFERRED one year USCE is a different matter. In that case, go for it.

Hi,usmleire. The issue is they just mention one year USCE nothing about being Mandatory/Preferred plus this requirement i got from the program coordinator over mail, nothing is on their website.

But i feel its mandatory as they are sending a lot of rejection. Still confused

This is how programs that are not IMG friendly give a reason why they don't accept them.

Do not apply.
