Personal Statement Editing Personal statement after designating to a program

Hey guys- I wanted to add a small detail to my personal statement but I have already applied and mostly all programs have downloaded my PS as well. Can I still add that detail or its not a good idea because there's a possibility some programs may have already gone through the first one?

According to the MyERAS User Guide you can reassign a Personal Statement at any time. However, it is not guaranteed that programs will read the new Personal Statement.
