I have no idea. But it would be wise of you to make a phone call to FSMB or ERAS and confirm the answer irrelevant of what suggestions you get on this forum.

The automatic retransmission is no longer an option when authorizing the release of the USMLE transcript. Anytime an applicant has new scores available, they will have to manually retransmit the transcript to programs to which they have applied using the retransmit option on the checkbox will be grayed out. (IMGs ONLY)
Documents | USMLE transcript
Applicants are limited to one retransmission request in a 24 hour period. This applies to both USMLE and COMLEX transcripts. The retransmission button will be disabled for a period of 24 hours after a request is made. A date and time stamp of the last retransmission request is available in the tab.
Retransmit section of the USMLE transcript tab and the COMLEX transcript
tab.

Info

on ERAS go to Dashboard. Under Documents click on USMLE transcripts. Then on the right side click on Retransmit. You can do this once in 24 hours.

I got my Step scores on the 18th of September ('13) and retransmitted them using the link on the USMLE transcript page on ERAS immediately (12.30 midnight).

I wasn't sure if my scores were on the transcript that I had retransmitted just after the score released which is why I retransmitted it 48 hours later again- the programmes automatically downloaded the transcript within the first few hours of retransmission each time...

I also called & wrote to the FSMB & ERAS asking them whether my Step three scores had showed up on my transcript yet. I got really vague replies, so I wrote to the Programme Coordinators of some community programmes telling them that my Step 3 scores had been released and if they could download my latest transcript (most of them had anyway).

I also requested them to inform me whether that transcript had my latest score in it or not. One of them replied in affirmative, which confirmed that my transcript with the step 3 scores had reached all programmes..

Just click the retransmit button and you are done. My experience says that the transcript definitely has your scores on it by 48 hours of your score release (could be earlier) and you can be rest assured while retransmitting that your step 3 scores are on it. Don't worry about the retransmit button, you can click it as many times as you want (every 24hourly) without bothering the PC/PD each time as programmes have an automatic download system (some downloading it at 1am!)
