Calendar 2015 Residency Schedule

Hi ,

I am going to take Step 1 in Oct 30 and I want to apply for residency next year. So, residency for the 2015 Match. I am a little worried that I wont have enough time to catch the august deadline. Is there anybody who is in the same boat as I am / were? Could you share your plan / experience / schedule so I get some mental (dis)comfort?

Couple of specific questions:

(1) Should I take Step 2 CS or Step 2 CK first?
(2) What should be the best strategy for me in terms of timeline?

Thanks

I also think ck would help a bit in cs but remember cs is showmanship job more or less. In this forum time needed to prepare for ck is 4-6 months. So maximum by April ck is done then u take cs in 1st week June. Results would be out by 10th aug as per the 2014 cs calendar.

I would only advise you to schedule your cs as early as possible - it is almost impossible to find an exam slot on summer.

@runboy
I am not aware of observership
But I know it's easier to get into observership than clerkship.
