Hey, you have decent scores so you'll start seeing IVs soon. From what I hear, people with average scores (like myself in 220s), usually receive calls from mid Oct through mid November. Fingers crossed

Default getting IV is mor ethan just about scores

I have low step 1 score but I have 1 IV so far. although i know this is nothing because 1 IV is not enough to secure a residency post. But it only shows that securing IV is not just about scores. transcript and honors also play big roles in the selection process. of course, connections. but i have no connections in the IV that I secured. i think it should be my academic credentials and transcript which helped me get the IV.

FYI. i'm an old iMG <10 yrs. done EM residency outside of US. no break in med school and in practice of medicine. currently employed.

i hope my low score in step 1 and an IV would give you hope. you're scores are great. I'm sure you'll get one soon.
