Calendar Interview's last date?

Hello,

I do not have any interview calls yet. My scores are

Step 1 : 215 (2nd attempt)
Step 2 CK : 240 (1st attempt)
Step 2 CS : Passed (1st attempt)
Visa Status : Green Card.

With no interviews but just rejections, i am kind of getting scared.

Could someone please let me know what are my chances to get an interview this late in the game?

Thanks.

It depends on the specialty you are applying to.

Hang in there.

I'd say apply for preliminaries if you can. Just as a back up.

i honestly wish i could give you information thats accurate. but all the information we can offer each other now is just heresay.. so heres what i've heard..

1) ppl get interviews from sept through jan. dont give up.
2) you only need one IV to match.

yes, its not so comforting, trust me, i know.. but its the best info we have. i wish you good luck!

It's a lot better than not doing anything. Prelim's give you a lot of USCE and give you opportunities get US LoR's and if you can get a letter of good standing from the PD, than there is no reason that you would be in a disadvantageous position.

that was my logic when i applied. but then a little while ago i ran into soem threads that advised against it.
but i also did the mistake of applying to prelim and categorical in the saem hospital so maybe thats why.. i dunno.
