Mail Emailing programs..

Good morning everyone!
Do you know if it's a good idea to email the program coordinators and inform about updated results and ecfmg cert even if ADTS shows that the new transcript is downloaded? Downloaded wouldn't mean that they have reviewed it , right?
Any experiences?
Thank you!

Hey.. Well I think it's a good idea because I think sometimes if not all the time, programs do not look at the application if for eg YOG >5 yrs despite good scores and experience because dat was one of the filters.. I think we can atleast request them this way to review our application by telling them we were doing residency or inform them about the changes in our transcript etc.. I think there is nothing to lose in that.. Who knows if we get an IV from der! Atleast I m going to do dat...

A while back I uploaded a 4th LoR (after September 15th) and I emailed all the programs I had applied to asking them to take a look at it. I think it is a good idea to inform them. There is no harm in it as we are not harrasing them (like with phone calls for example ) and we have every right to ask them to update our application. GL!
