Question Can u say, MRCP(UK) will help getting residency

hello i am old grad have completed MRCP(UK). Can anyone say that MRCP(UK) will help getting residency. pl let me know.

There is already a similar thread about this and you've posted exactly the same message there as well.

I don't think that completing the MRCP will have ANY effect on your chances of getting into residency. I am a UK grad myself and am familiar with how difficult the exam is, however I very much doubt that many PDs in the US would be aware of this.

If anything, it will help in terms of your knowledge base when it comes to practising in the US. That being said, you need to be a certain number of years post-graduation to be able to complete the MRCP, and a lot of programs filter out old grads in favor of fresh ones. So, unfortunately, this may well work to your disadvantage.
