Question Is this considered hands-on clinical experience??

hey guys ,
so i had a hands-on clinical experience at a big cancer center in a community hospital but it was not officially, ( not insured) , i got it through connections and was able to get a good LOR describing it from this doctor
So is this is considered a hands-on clinical experience from the program director point of view?

No if you mention that you had patient contact without malpractice insurance , it just shows that you are a person that cannot be trusted.

Default Are you sure that malpractice insurance is essential

Dear all
I'm not sure you need to have malpractice insurance for hands on clinical expirience, could one of the usmle staff members confirm this?
Because I got a USCE letter from the director at a teaching hospital and I took histories &physicals (under Dr presence of course and I let every pt know I was a fmg) and I got a letter (it was on private letterhead not on hospital letterhead)stating that I had done histories &physical exams at both the Dr s private practice &hospital, the Dr never asked me for a malpractice insurance, neither did the other Drs that I subsequently did externships with.....maybe it differs from state to state.... Because Eastern states re fine with it bur California and Pennsylvania do not allow it ....
Could some experienced member please shed light on this matter

I did observership in private clinic, and i did not wanted to touch patients because of insurance issue, but the doctor told me his insurance covered everyone in the office... I also stated this in my CV and my LOR, and got some interviews, so I don't think it is a big issue. I would describe it as it was, and as it is stated on your LOR.
Let's keep praying
