I'm an applicant for this year match. Your step 1 score is good for OBGYN, but bear in mind, OBGYN is really competitive especially if you are from FOREIGN Nation and trained in foreign nation. According to last year match, around 150 IMGs, matched into OBGYN, 80 US-IMGs and 70 Non-US-IMGs, this is out of around 1,200 spots.

Score is not the only thing, you also need good overall application, show your dedication to OBGYN field and of course USCE, do externships and observerships, build connections, write an honest and good personal statement, then you'll be ready for the match.

I think it is going to be VERY difficult for me to earn USCE before getting into residency... I simply don't have the means to finance myself in America w/o a paying job.

Has anyone heard of people matching with just their scores?

Try publishing as much as you can. It should help. Nothing can guarantee a position though. It has multiple factors.
Usually people try to get USCE when they come to give their cs exam.
