Planning Is my plan OK?

I have a simple question about my plan for application for next match starting in 2011.
I always want to take USMLE exams in the this sequence 1, CK, CS and 3.
but when they USMLE committee said that the cs examinees should type the patient notes that changed every thing, I am a bad keyboard user and I'm not that fast. now i have a plan to take cs exam in the first of April - i guess before mid 2011- and then i will take ck in the first of may or first of June, as I made a plan to study for both exams simultaneously do you think with such a plan i will be able to apply for the match in 2011?
and if I want to take step 3 immediately after I apply for the match would that be a good plan?
I would really appreciate your help, I just moved to USA and I don't know anybody that may help me.
thank you.

Default My notes on your plan

Your plan seems to be realistic and I don't see any problem in it.

The only warning that I want to give you is about (Typing the CS notes). I think sooner or later you need to start learning how to type fast. If you are going to be a doctor in USA then within few years there will be no clinic or hospital that relies on traditional writing and you ultimately need to learn to type fast.

It's not a big issue, you can learn typing in less than 2 weeks.

Also, remember that the NBME did not give an exact date for the switch to the typing-only CS exam and I don't want you to be stressed about that. Just learn how to type and you'll have peace of mind.

The other point. I don't think you can read for the CK and CS at the same time. Just prepare for the CS (it won't take more than a month) and then turn your focus to the CK.

Default thanks

thank you Sabio for your response, I guess I should start to learn how to type, this definitely well give me more advantage - especially if I didn't pass cs in the first attempt -
