Announcement Research/USCE for FMG/IMGs

Hi everyone,

I represent Residents Medical. We currently have open positions for paid research positions at ACGME Accredited university-based programs, across a number of specialties and in many U.S. states. These typically last 6-9 months and pay at $800-$1000 a month. LORS and publications are the end result.

Message me for details, looking forward to helping.

Sorry, but stating that a publication is the end result of 6-9 months of research is just disingenuous.
Not all research comes to fruition with respect to publishing results.

A publication is the end result of our paid-research positions specifically. It is true that not all positions will end in this. RMG however, guarantees this, it is our commitment to our residents. Sorry for the confusion!

No offence but anyone with an iota of experience in research will have a very difficult time believing in this guarantee. Be a bit more realistic.

Maybe they guarantee a publication in a way that your name will appear on a published paper if your own project isn't sufficient for a publication.

We fund these positions across the U.S. and would not make a statement of guarantee unless we could deliver it. The publication process can take longer than 6 months, but at least 6 months of gathering data and other components of research are necessary. The projects are either recommended by us or are assigned by the residency departments at the ACGME University-based institutions. Message me with any other questions, doubts, or concerns you may have.

Most times, the project will be assigned by the residency department of the institution where you will be conducting research.

I gotta say this sounds very suspect

Their website says they have a "99% success rate" at matching their candidates to ACGME residency posts. This can only be a completely made up statistic.

Please dont give any money to these guys if they ask for anything up front!

Yeah I talked with a representative of this group before, they asked for a lot of money upfront and then they give you part back as a salary, and the girl really kill all your self confidence, she even told me not to apply to match this year, they will work with me to apply next year, because if I apply this year I will be lucky if a get 1 interview.... guess what, i got some........

I hope they change their ways, and this is real opportunity, just be careful.

Its not a real opportunity. People take advantage of other people when they want something and are willing to go to great lengths to get it (a residency in the states).

Their website is so obviously fake

Dont give them any money

Im sorry but the more i dwell on this the angrier its made me.

Shame on you.

The people you are trying to take advantage of work incredibly hard to be able to succeed in helping other people, and one day your life too might depend on such people. I hope when that time comes this thought comes back to haunt you.

Hi there, no, you don't need to be ECFMG certified to conduct research

I have Private Messaged you but no response. I urge you to notify me of any accusations or concerns you might have regarding our organization, and we will address them promptly. We fund research positions nationally in the hopes of allowing MD's and Medical Students an easy transition into residency down the road. I'm sorry you're angry, let me know how I can help!

Our website is currently under construction. We have primarily functioned through word of mouth and did not need to advertise through media. Stay tuned! Also still haven't gotten a response back from the Private Message I sent you.

Thank you for clarifying that these are real opportunities. The reason our representatives might have discouraged you from applying is because, had you gone with our services, we would want you to start with a clean slate. Our aim is not to discourage you, but to protect you from more frustration. When MD's reach their residency goals, we're happy, so glad to hear that you got interviews, at FMG friendly programs, I'm sure. Let me know if you have any more advice for us!
