Curriculum Vitae Should I let progs know of my new job as MA?

I have recently acquired a new job as an MA (Medical Assistant) and wondering if I should email programs that I interviewed in to let them know of my new job.

Would it do good or harm?

I know it should sound good that I am being productive while waiting for the Match results but I'm also thinking that they might think it doesn't involve patient evaluation anyway and is just useless.

My responsibilities include rooming-in a patient, taking history, vitals, blood draws, and office procedures like rapid strep test, etc.

Thank u for your opinion!
Ha! My eyebags ain't Gucci but can sure fit Schwartz, Nelsons, and Williams in em!

Notifying programs of your new job as MA is as useless as letting them know that you just got married to an American citizen for a GC.
I don't see how sending such an email will help you, instead, it might portray you as dump & desperate .

Nb: I already worked as an EMT & MA befor my interviews but not even a single person asked what my duties were instead they wanted to know more of what I did during my observaships.

Of course it will help, it shows enthusiasm (among many other things). Also, though it's not officially "doctor work", you are still helping people and touching lives. This will not return to you as negativity. you already matched
