Default Steptaker! I need your help. please.

Dear Steptaker. i am new here in website. and i have questions as IMG.
please i need your help.

I am Russian graduate and outside of my country. And i have to apply for ECFMG. My school never had experience with it and i have to explain them what to do.
i read some posts that IMGs met a lot of difficulties with things like stamp in right place or signature. i requested ECFMG to provide samples and waiting answer.

You are IMG with big experience. AS IMG which challenges did you meet with ECFMG application? My university has to connect and provide all information about me to ECFMG and i feel hopeless with it.
Please how i can contact you ?
thank you.

First check if your college is listed in the IMED, if not then you are in bit of trouble ,, as you will have to get you college registered in the list, which could take time.

Neutrino thank you I read it already. My idea like to ask my university to apply for

ECFMG Medical School Web Portal (EMSWP) to make their work easy in submission of all papers. i am right?

And my question also is graduates whose medical education credentials have been primary-source verified by ECFMG what does it mean?

Neutrino hi. can i ask you a question? Are you IMG or you were study from the beginning in USA?

for step 1 you can prepare by youself , but i for step 2 i am sure it is very important to have practice in good hospital. i am in Africa in place where level of medicine is not enough.

Pls stop selling yourself short......most hospitals in africa are under equipped but the standard of teaching/learning is par if not even higher than western countries. So many of us from Africa have written all steps without attending kaplan or attending a hospital here in the US as you claim & we did very well.

I'm Nigerian.
My point is, you can read your books even there in Gambia & pass 2ck very well. I met 2 Sudanese during CS, they both scored 250+ & CS was their 1st visit to the US.
Gluck with whatever you decide to do but I have come to realize that most times when a student was busy playing truancy during med school, he comes out to blame his teachers for his poor comprehension of medicine!

I agree with you. In my school time i have family and study achievement is poor compare to USA level. I realised when start to prepare. i have 4 months to prepare for MBEM test from 0 when i think about it i am wet. I just loss all my optimism. it is possible for this duration?
