How much are you willing to pay for this work? The time I will spend ranking your 30programs will be enough to pass step 3

Bro I am already broke from attending all the iv. I can pay with wisdoms, as I can see you have done step 1 and probably need help with the future.

I guess it's time to update my profile! I'm done with the steps & waiting for March 17th.
Good luck with the ranking bro, you have nearly 100% chance of matching...but sorry I can't help

Is Kingsbrook Jewish really that bad? I thought I'd rank it higher than Coney Island.

I also liked Henry Ford very much. But I'm not sure if it's worth living in Detroit. Like you, staying where my friends and family are, is important for me.

I think your ROL is perfect as it is, since as you said location is important for you. I don't know why you placed TN and LA programs higher than NY/OH programs (I mean location wise)

That was my second interview and I thought the place was just awful. alot of medical questions and mind games which irritated me. About henry Ford, the location sucks big time but the program is solid with alot of good fellowship placements, so for me that matters alot.

The only reason I ranked them higher is because they are uni programs so the fellowhsip scope is much better, otherwise LA/TN are **** places with red necks...

I think with your credentials you'd be safe (>90% chance) in landing in your Top 5-6. BTW, all of them have in-house fellowships and would provide you a good clinical training. On top of that, your favorable visa status would be a huge plus landing in a good fellowship. Also, I was surprised you were not called to places like UConn or even BU.

Having said that, I don't know why you wasted your money going to places like Reno considering it's your 20-something option, while I can see a point going to small community programs in Bronx, since it costs only a bus ticket and a friend with a nice sofa. However, I don't think you have profile of these places, and I'd have cancelled a bunch of those to give the opportunity to the people that really need IVs.

I, myself, went to 17 IVs, cancelled 12, never responded to 2, and don't have any regrets. But I see your point, and I know this whole process is very anxiogenic.

Well, just open your NRMP account and certify that list. You're good to go! I wish you the best of luck and that we are able to match in the place of our dreams!

@skywalker: Why not make your own thread? Discussing two ROLs in one thread makes the thread messy.
