Default How is YoG counted

hello collegues.

i have on my degree written 2011 graduate. But our date of passing is 26 Jan 2013. Stupid pakistani govt. systems.

how will they consider my year of graduation for the match, 2011 or 2013?
thanks in advance.

Hi drahmadkmc:

I do not think that there are official "rules" which of this years is officially considered your YoG, and I doubt it matters. Clearly, it is better to have graduated more recently, but most IMG friendly will probably know about the situation in Pakistan.

So it is not like an automatic "scoring system" where you get e.g. a number of points for these criteria such as YoG.. Rather the program director etc. will look at the entire application.

Hope this helps and good luck in the match!
