Question PTAL, L5 Approved but Transcript deficient

My status on the website is saying that L5 is approved and transcript is received but deficient, do you know what does it mean?

Did you send them your final medical school transcript?

Medical School Transcript is the mark sheet that mentions all the units you got at med school, the Medical Boards of California wants to see the original one, you have to send them the original transcript in addition to form L5.

Hi thanks! I did send my original transcript and it is marked recieved but deficient don't know why if they will approved L5 why not the transcript??

There must be something wrong with your transcript, such as missing some units, or missing school seal, or wrong translation, ..etc

I suggest the best way to tackle this problem is by contacting your analyst directly.

Call the MBC and give them your ATS number and they'll transfer you to the analyst who's responsible for your file, you may also try to reach that person by email.

They usually respond efficiently and quickly and they'll tell you what was wrong with your transcript.

When you get the info from them, please tell us hear in this thread so that we can learn from your experience.

Hi I just wanted to let you know what I just learnt for PTAL you need to send you transcript in the orginial language and not only translation, even if the translation is prepared and sent by the school!
