Default planning to apply with low step1 score

Hi guys
Am an img still a undergraduate ( will graduate in may 2014)
Step 1 220
Step 2 245
Cs - pass 1 st attempt
An am planning to give my step 3 in July
I have two months of electives usce with good lor
Now am worried how my chances of residency are effected due to my low step 1 score ...
Am planning to apply for this year
I don't have any publications and research and am not a green card holder
plz advice me through this ? Do I need to do any other things to improve my cv before I apply ...

You have nothing to worry about, unless you have unforgivable communication skills. You will get interviews and most likely you will match. Just try to get some US clinical experience before Sept 15 and you'll be set. USCE > Step3

Yeah drsaid is right, you'll be fine. Do all the usual things that IMGs do; apply widely, apply as early as possible, have some safety programs, etc, and you should get enough interviews.

I see no reason why you should not match. Focus more on USCE and you should have 7+ IV. Keep us posted, I wish you the best
