Listening Orthopaedic lies?

People here say orthopaedics is near on impossible for IMG, however according to NRMP 2009 (last one I can find with specialties individually examined):

average USMLE score for step 1 for matched IMG applicants= 226
average USMLE score for step 2 for matched IMG applicants= 228
most IMG applicant who ranked more than 14 places matched

I know stats can be manipulated! But the above doesn't seem impossible by any stretch of the imagination. Above average grades, a couple of publications, 1 years ortho experience in the UK and 3 months USCE. Do I stand a chance or am I deluding myself?
