Default Should I retake all USMLE steps

Hello everyone. I graduated from my home country in 2001 and passed USMLE Step1 and 2CK in 2003. I couldnt come to US since my US GC was under processing at that time and got completed in 2010. At that time I had joined residency training in my own country and completed last year. I always wanted to pursue my residency in US and settle there.
I contacted USMLE and ECFMG boards and I was informed my scores are valid since the USMLE was undergoing some technical changes csa-csin 2003.
They also informed me about the indivisual state requirements many of them require to be ecfmg certified within 7 years of passing step1.
Based on that I am still eligible in very few states3-5 tops.
MMy USMLE scores step1 221, step2ck 236.
I will be eligible in Minnesota, NY, maybe Texas, NC. I am looking for serious advice. Should I go with my present scores and apply for next year or should I retake all the steps which may improve my chances. If while I am applying with my 2003 scores in the above mentioned states and at same time decide to retake my USMLES will my previous scores get cancelled?
If with full time work howmuch time should I commit to USMLE 1,CK,CS.
I really hope I can get advice from you all.
Thanks.

You should not lose more years your scores are not the problem but the graduation year. same is for me. i would even lower my scores by 5-10 points to be 4-5 years younger so just go for it and apply if you are eligible. You forgot how much suffer it was to take those exams? 2 years are minimum you need for all steps. and whole time not with job or anything. and im sure it will not be any easier retaking them. and no guarantee you will get higher scores.

Default thanks everyone for their advice.

@tamta, abeer: I am also trying to contact state medical boards directly. NY, Florida have no time limit. So if any one can clarify if I am correct that would be helpful. Alo some mentioned I may have to retake some USMLE steps so it falls within 7 year period. For me I think that would mean retaking all the steps unfortunately. Although I am focussed but 12 years down I am married and have 2 kids.
Thanks.

Default Also I think I have to again

gain tips on how to start from scratch with career, kids, usmle. If I can with my current scores I will apply aqnd try to get ecfmg certification, pass step3 and apply. If I dont match 1 cycle I will try to get experience and retake steps so that will hopefull open a few more doors.
I have read of mothers (mommd's) who did extrememly well so I think that is a very important inspiration.
