Question USMLE Step 2.5!

Hey,
I heard from others that some programs make written and verbal tests during the interview to assess the applicant's medical knowledge?
Is that true?
Is the interview going to be USMLE step 2.5

Unfortunately, yes!

You need the right preparation, and so far
we have been doing well in preparing
candidates for the interview. So far,
two of our clients were offered A pre-match.

Thanks

So what kind of test they do? Is it specific to the specialty that we are applying for? This is kinda scary

I have several friends who had interviews last year
None of them was subjected to a medical test, written or verbal!
If at all, they may ask about what's in the CV. Like for example if you have done some research in asthma then ask you about asthma or in extreme situation they'll ask about how to respiratory function tests for example.

Programs rely on the USMLE and they don't expect themselves to be a better judges of our knowledge than the USMLE!

I don't think they'll ever subject you to a serious test of medical knowledge. Perhaps, they just want to check some general knowledge and may be your IQ!
