Default My Chances of matching a residency program

I am a 2007 YOG and has Step 1 score of 205. One positive thing i have is green card.

I have an attempt on CS exam. An X less than pass which took a toll on my emotions. Its really hard to come out of the emotional and depressing night mares. I am yet to take step 2 ck and step 3.

Could you please advise or suggest if there are any success stories with my situation. If yes, what needs to be done from now to achieve my goal.

I am looking for any kind of suggestion to know my Chances of matching any residency program...Really appreciate your advice and help..

Your chances are very low and here is why:
*Low step 1 score
*Multiple attempts
*YOG > 5 years

These are 3 red flags, so unless you have VERY strong connections with PDs, save your money for something else. I'm so sorry to tell you this, but this is only what I would have done. Good luck to you

It's going to be a long tough road for you. As mentioned in the comment above, there are three big red-flags in your application. Consider the astounding number of applicants each IM program receives every year - new record every year, 3500-4000 applications. Majority of these applicants do not have the red flags your application carries which puts you in a very precarious position.
If you have strong connections with PD's or have worked closely with someone influential in a program, you could get lucky but that's the only way. Do remember you'll have to spend a lot of money, time and energy into a process which may ultimately bear no fruits given the cards you hold. I would re-consider, but that is just my own opinion given to you with honesty - feel free to ignore it if you like. Good luck.

Thanks for the honest suggestions.. I am very sad to be in this situation.

Can you suggest or advise if there is some thing I need to do which might help me from now?

Are there any success stories who dealt the same situation in the past?

Tough but not impossible.Contacts are the key. These filters can be passed through knowing anyone in the program. My brothers friend(a 1995 graduate from pakistan with low 210s) got in family medicine in michigan area. But program says in their website we take graduates less than 5 years.Though he was doing ultrasound technician job for over 7 years.so my advice is to take 220 plus in ck and remain touched with the field.Your time will come too.goodluck
