In my opinion this will not benifit you because simply you can't compare yourselves to others and calculate your chances accordingly. Every person is a unique applicant and what makes you unique is a sum of factors which will determine your destination. I saw many people last year with double 99s getting decent number of interviews and didn't match and on the other side I saw many people with low 80's scores old graduates with scanty number of interviews matching. The sum of factors which will play a role in resident selection include the following:
-USMLE score,s inparticulary step 1.
-Observerships/externships/US LORs
-previous residency back home and related LORs
-interview performance
-visa status
-publications
-current job/position
-medical societies/journals memberships

@ramesh, I'll try to explain for you some about the first 4 things you asked about. But put in your mind that these thngs vary from PD to other and from one applicant to other as many factors can play a role in taking the abovementioned things into or out of considerations. PDs in general prefer applicants with strong basics ie step 1, also many applicants at time of application will only have step1 and maybe cs result in their hand and this is why step 1 is usually a stronger screening criterion (if the score was the only important thing to a specific program as high notched university hospitals. Some community hospitals may take you even if you have very low scores but instead you are compensating with no visa status or previous residency certain where. There was a myth saying the back home LORs are of no benifit, thats not true ,many people I helped last year matched without USCE, BUT if you have it iwill add to the weight of your application in getteing more interviews and ranking higher. Previous residency back home usually help the old graduates. USCE is an important factor that gives the PD an idea about how much you know the systems and gives them more trust when they read the US LORs you got. Its early to speak about interview performance, we will come back to it later when it is the time. I'll be postinf some interview questions and tips in my website soon.
