Question Public Health, Health Management Residency!

Hey everyone, it's my first time to post something in this forum..I really like how people here are so helpful to each other..I'm a medical student still and planning to take my step 1 by the end of this year.. I want to know if residencies are available for IMGs in public health and health management departments and what are the chances and if really high scores needed?
Too soon to ask I know, but a person should know in advance what to aim for

Arrow You have three options

You have three options:

Option A) Get an MPH (Master of Public Health) Degree from one of the Universities and you can then practice in health management. This option does not need passing the USMLE.

Option B) Get into Preventive Medicine (Public Health, General, Occupational and Aerospace) residency program, many of them do not participate in the NRMP match.

Option C) Get one clinical year of PGY1 (can be anything such IM, FM, peds, ..etc) + MPH and then be American Board of Preventive Medicine certified. Then you can practice in health management.

Wow! This is awesome, StepTaker! I've been considering Preventive Medicine aside from a Psychiatry training.

Do you know if there are programs that offer an MPH and Prev Med residency? If not specific, where can I find these programs, like which state?
