List List of documents needed to apply for CS Exam visa!

Hi,
I am new to this forum and i was searching for a complete list of documents required for B1/B2 visa for taking the step-2CS exam. I am from India. As there are many Indian IMG's here who have got their visas for the exam, please someone spare sometime to give a complete list of documents for visa application. My coll is new and i have no seniors to advise on this issue, so please help.
It will also help other students by providing all details in one place rather than searching without proper results.
Thanks in advance!
good luck!

  • Step 1 Score Report
  • Step 2 CK Score Report
  • Financial capacity document (bank account, dad's bank account, ...etc)
  • Passport
  • 2 Photographs
  • Step 2 CS exam application (proof of payment and proof of exam date scheduling)
  • Step 2 CS Kaplan Medical Live course proof of payment (this is very helpful)

There's no specific list, the more documents you take the better your chances of getting the visa.

no it helps a lot - the reason is that B1/b2 visa applicants must be screened such that they are not potentially "misusing " the reason to enter and remain within the US indefinitely.

Although the CS exam might be a costly way to enter, proof that someone is serious enough to invest another 3000 USD for the CS course proves

1. the person is financially viable
2. the reason is genuine beyond all doubt.

I got my visas and i didnt think it was any b** at all.

Help

thanks guys 4 responding promptly!
One more doubt is that i am in internship and i have no financial income of my own. My father is paying for the trip. So what documents should my dad provide (like his bank statements, IT returns, property and it must be certified by a CA on stamp paper?)
Also, should i get another letter from my father saying that he is sponsoring my trip? How much bank balance and property would be appropriate to show in these documents?
Sorry for these questions maybe they seem silly but this is the 1st time i am applying for any visa, so got too many doubts
Thanks!
