Default Change of status from B1 to F1 with Kaplan

hi guys, this is a lengthy post so my questions are. Have you had this situation same/similar to mine? If so what was the outcome? If not and you have any suggestions or comments please do, but read the whole thing

I'm an FMG graduated outside my home country, came here to take USMLE and try for 2015 match, my dad is a resident here and he is sponsoring me.
I studied for step 1 on my own at the begging of this year and passed, now planning to take step 2 ck and cs.

I'm trying to enroll in Kaplan for the courses with the obvious need to change status. It's been a long while since my application to change status and I got a request for me to send a letter explaining why I want to enroll in the institution and how this will benefit my return home. This last bit is what makes difficult for me to write the letter as the USMLEs are for practicing my profession in the US so there's a big red flag there for "intends of immigration". Any suggestions or examples for this matter are greatly appreciated.

Another thing I got on the message form USCIS is for Kaplan to extend me another "date of start" for the course, there's not much trouble here as Kaplan is a "go when you need to" kind of course.

Well any suggestions, comments on the matter appreciated, specially if you have/had an experience just like mine.
I'm getting kind of edgy because I know there are lots of red flags on my application but I figure if it was going to be rejected they would have done so by now instead of requesting more documents..... I hope I'm right.

PS: in case you wonder I was going for center prep, live lectures are a big no for me as I get distracted way to much
