B1 Visa B1-B2 visa interview together with wife or not?

Both me and my wife scheduled the CS on same day and same center in May 2012

Then should we apply together for interview or not

We have a 5 yr old kid who will be staying back in home country

Pls answer this

Generally speaking, Visa officers tend to reject "family" visas for applicants with limited financial capacities specially in developing countries.

However, the fact that you are leaving your kid behind is a big plus.

Really, I don't know the right answer to your question.

If I were you, I'd go with my wife and apply together (just in case they'd discover us if we apply separately) but am not sure about that.
