Fire Thread Its complicated: B1 marrying green card holder, and applying for match this year!

Okay so can someone with good visa knowledge solve this for me?
I'm an IMG, with B1 visa, valid till 2017. I'm applying for the match this year. I''m engaged to a guy who is a green card holder, stil has 2-3 years to get a citizenship (This is a total family pressure, I'm not into the guy to give up things for).
So, I'm getting married in January 2016.
I want to ask, once I apply for green card too, what happens to my B1? And then will I be able to get sponsored a J1 once I get matched? What are my options, how do I deal with this situation?
Please help!

I am not sure, but I think you can apply for the green card and in the same time you can apply EAD (Employment authorization document) which is almost equal to green card during residency match.
