Help Lost my Step 1 score

hey all....i know it sounds stupid but some how i managed to loose my step 1 score report..!!!...i know i am stupid...but i just lost the containing file on my laptop plus as i had mentioned in my earlier post i was frastrated when i received my report that i didn't print it the 1st time and now when i am finally over the depression and am back to trying for residency in the US i lost my report.....i know that i can apply for the transcript but that is not the problem for me right now.....my main concern is for the VISA application as we are required to provied the score report along with other documents ....i want to know if i can apply for the visa without the score report..will that give the embassay a reason to cancel my visa????....cause it is really difficult to get US visa now adays.....also can anyone please tell me what should i do....transcript is something i can apply for only if i had given step 2 CK but since i haven't is that also my option????...please suggest me how should i make my document stronger so that i have a better chance of getting a visa???..can i write an application to the consulate???.....please help .....it would really mean a lot to me....

Apply for transcript. Wait for it to come. Then take it with you for the Visa interview.

thank you so much for replying......
but i want to ask ..if it's necessary to give step2 CK before you apply for transcript???....because i haven't given step2 Ck ...and how long does it take for the transcript to be available???? please reply soon

You don't have to take CK, apply for transcript and you'll get whatever exams you have passed, in your case it's step 1 score only.

It doesn't take very long. I'd say a couple of weeks.

thank you once again.........i am relieved ... .....but i want to ask you one last question......please don't mind.....umm you said it will take few weeks for the transcript to come actually i was plannin on applying for the visa around 1st week of march ...so do you think i can get my transcript by then????....or if it takes longer what can i do to shorten the duration for the transcript to come????

You cannot expedite the process.
Just do it as soon as you can and hopefully you'll get it before March.

How do I know if they have received it? Ive sent it as a fax... but Id like to know at least that theyve got it.
