Default Visa only for 3 months

i have my cs exams in a month. They gave me visa for 3 mth single entry. The interview was a simple one they asked where, when and why I was giving exam, asked me about my sponsors, asked my future plans in residency and asked whether I was marrieds or not. My sponsor had adequate income and I am not married. The VO gave me visa for limited time ,single entry and wished me luck for future.
What visa do I apply after 3mths now? Is 3 mth enough for observership if I get one? Plz any suggestions will be highly appreciated .thank u
