Passport Form I 134

Hai
Anyone please tell me what is form I 134.
Is the form to be signed by the person who is sponsoring me. Is it a must if the sponsor is not staying in US ?

Form 134 is the Affidavit of Support, it has to be signed by the person staying in US n sponsoring you,Sponsoring in the sense that person will take care of all your expenses while you are in US, and may also support your round trip to US.

Acc. to my knowledge, form 134 pertains to USCIS,that means its for those sponsors who are in the United States,U can self sponsor your trip, or anybody else(not in US) can also sponsor your trip, and for that you should see if you can provide Affidavit of Supportby youself.

Form 134 is a simple form and The frst question itself asks the legal status of the sponsor in US,so by that u can understand that the person should be in US.

Ask if u have any doubts

And YES even if the person is not a US citizen HE can definitely sign it provided he should be on a legal status in US and should have enough MONEY to support your visit.
