Passport is it possible to go for Step 2 CS on F1 visa?

Hi there, I am a bit confused about all this visa issue, hopefully i can get ome guidance from this forum.

the thing is, i applied for an F1 visa in 2010 as needed for the elective program at Mount Sinai. Unfortunately i didnt get my passport back in time and missed the elective. But my passport showed that I have an F1 multiple visa for 5 years, but there is an annotation of Mount sinai on that visa.

My question is that I plan to go to USA in next few months for Step 2 CS. Can I use my F1 visa for that purpose even though it has an annotation of Mount Sinai? Or do I need to apply for a fresh Visa?

Thumbs Up Yes. You can.

When you go the CS exam center in USA they'll ask you to show an acceptable identification card (your passport) that matches your ECFMG name and for the CS scheduling permit.

They don't care you are on what visa or how you entered the country.

So. Yes. You can take the exam on F1 Visa.

So the immigration at US airport won't have any issues when i show them the F1 Visa which specifically has annotation for Mount Sinai, even though I have got a different reason to be in USA this time around?
