Hi, i will be applying for B1/B2 visa for step 2cs. I want to stay for a period of 3 month to do some USCE.
If till my interveiw i do not receive a acceptance for observership what do i tell the visa officer for 3 month stay?
Also i want to know if visa officer is required to know duration of my stay or is it determined by Airport authority? can you say two different dates at both places if in case i receive an acceptance for observership by then? Thankyou.
if i want to stay for USCE but have no acceptance till my interview what should i say about the purpose of stay other than CS which would be over in 15 days?
That's not true !! I know couple of people who got three months visa.
I agree with the later part that you will get longer duration for repeated visitor.
@Doxorubucin as step taker said just tell them that you are going for cs. Be diplomat if they ask for duration of visa just say something like I will be fine with anything, don't tell them any particular number.
You dont need ticket but approximate date if you get visa.
In the visa interview flight return tickets also need to be taken is what i have heard.
Will I not be asked the reason if i book a return of 3 month later?
what do you suggest i should say about my reason for stay for 3 months. i dont have a confirmed USCE now but i want to do after my CS. i have read they ask about duration of stay.
I have 2 relatives in US. Should i ask them to send me letter of invitation for 1 month each to stay and travel with them? i thought that would justify my 3 month stay in case am asked.Should i mention about my relatives if asked?
Will that be good idea? Would i be doing any wrong if i don't stay at place stated to stay in my interveiw.
Also i wanted to know if anyone with Mumbai counselate experience in recent tell me processing days to get passport after visa approval.
They are my mother's cousins, i think that makes them 2nd generation aunts. would they be defined as blood relative for visa purposes?i would be using their address in US.
No. But dont forget to mention them as other relatives in DS 160 as you are using there address.
