Default elective

Both elective and clerkship can be done by undergraduates only. A graduate can do observorship or externship. You can apply to a university now, you'll get selected in a month out two. Try university of Nebraska.

HI,

I have recently graduated , and doing a Housejob these days along with my usmle preparation. I applied at Columbia University for Observership and was granted to do 2 months in the coming summer. I applied for B1/B2 Visa yesterday and unfortunately was refused saying that I don't qualify for it as I don't have stronger ties with my country. (stating my sister and some distant uncles living in USA)

My sister is in New York doing her fellowship in I.D. This is the 2nd time i have been refused the same visa as the one 1st was refused in 2011 when I was going for Electives in EMORY.

I am totally devastated and confused.. as I don't know what to do next.. Can anyone please help me out here.. Should I apply again with the same letter???

I have all my documents regarding my insurance and dad's Lands, Houses etc... but was not able to show them during my interview as the VO never asked for it...
