Passport Will be coming to US on a visit Visa

I am applying for a visa to give my CS in the coming April..

Now m concerned if I can give the test on a visit visa...I had also planned to do some kind of a n observership there or get some clinical experience..will I b able to do that on my visit visa?

And if things turn out as I hope and I get into residency the hospital will provide me with a visa then can my visit visa be converted in to H1 or whatever visa from US itself?

Hope someone has an answer to my questions..

Thanks in advance

Show Teeth Yes, you can come on a visit visa

Yes. You can take the CS exam and do the observerships and come for residency interviews all on Visit B1/B2 Visa.

Yes, your visa can be converted to J1 or H1B once you get into residency

Yes. It's the visit visa that you need. No other designations.
