Default B1/B2 Visa for CS - Occupation?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me what I should put as my occupation in my b1/b2 visa application as I'm not employed and just studying for USMLE.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Default B1/B2 Visa for CS - Occupation?

Thanks Rumukaka for your reply but the problem with putting medical doctor as an occupation is you have to provide name/address of your employer. I was thinking of putting "Not Employed" and they have section which says to explain. Can I put : "Studying for USMLE and not enrolled in any institution". What do you think?

I had just resigned my job at the time I applied.

I put unemployed and just wrote how long I had been unemployed and listed "Break in occupation for Academic Pursuits" as the explanation.

I gave details of previous employment in the appropriate section.

If you are still in Medical School, you just have to write student.
