I think you should contact the embassy now since you've waited for more than 90 days.

Here's a quote from the official website:

Quote:
****IMPORTANT NOTE: Processing wait time DOES NOT include the time required for administrative processing. These procedures require additional time. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of application. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case. Therefore, before making inquiries about status of administrative processing, applicants or their representatives will need to wait at least 90 days from the date of interview or submission of supplemental documents, whichever is later. Processing wait time also does not include the time required to return the passport to applicants, by either courier services or the local mail system.

I emailed the embassy and they told me that visa processing may take 120 days or more.

Oh, that's really annoying.

May I ask where you've applied and have you been rejected before?

I applied in Amman Jordan,
my first visa application took only 3 days to be approved.
It is really annoying, I will enter a residency program in Jordan this year, and I want to save my vacation days from interviews. so I cant take it after June.

That's strange. I heard that if you have a previously accepted visa, you should receive subsequent visas immediately.

So you planned on taking CS without applying in the match this year? May I ask why?

No, I want to apply this year, but as you know that residency in USA starts in July. so we have a year in home.
We have a very good cancer center in the country, with affiliations with many university hospitals in USA. they choose its residents for interviews, and sometimes those hospitals take residents from this center outside the match.

Well, I know this must be hard, but I think there's nothing you can do but wait. Good luck.

I also have a visa appointment on 15/5; hope it doesn't end up like this or I'd miss my exam!
